I am in love with wrapped canvas printing. I can't say how beautiful groupings as well as individual images look when done on canvas and it makes hanging so easy!
Here are a couple of examples of wrapped canvas groupings with past clients images

Had a great shoot with little 12 day old Taelyn. She fought to stay awake but finally gave in with a little help from her moms phone with white noise playing :)

Jackson Riley
This family holds a special spot for me as they are Georgia Bulldog fans. We did a few of Jackson Riley's 8 day old newborn shots with Georgia Bulldog props.
(for those of you that don't know I attended the Univesity of Georgia years ago).
When they called back to do some shots in the family Christening gown I was so excited! Now he is about 5 months old.
How handsome is he~
And the biggest blue eyes!

Friday Finds
When I am online and visit a website or facebook page I have found a few pet peeves regarding pages... put where you are located, not sure why people don't put that especially on fan pages. Check your site does it load in a reasonable time? Check it from different places. I have left numerous sites waiting for something to come up. Here are some other tips I found & like.

I know I have climbed a fence, laid on the ground, stood on the truck tailgate and many other things to get a "good picture". Check out these images of photographer getting "the shot".

Today is Random Act of Kindness day.
Showing a little kindness to others is fun and a good thing to do!
It really makes the giver & the receiver feel great and I am a true believer of what you put out is what you get back.
So, perform acts of kindness not only today but every day!

Kick off ~ 2012 Life Actually
I have been trying to decide on a personal project for this year. There is the 366 projects - a photo a day for the year, the 52 week projects - a photo a week for the year and many others that I came across. Nothing really hit home to me untill I read a blog post~
That was it, that was the project I wanted to do. Our daughter goes off to college in just a few years and our schedules just keep getting busier, but each week I wanted to stop time in our family and hold the moment. Good, bad, makeup or not just "stop time".
This week flew by. It didn't seem like there was a moment to catch all three of us -we were too busy back at work, school, volleyball and catching up on everthing after the holidays. Sat afternoon, almost the end of the week and I have no photo for my project. I felt like I was already starting off on a bad foot and couldn't believe I didn't have one image for the first week.
Sat afternoon 2:00 we had run errands all morning and piled on the couch to catch our breath before heading into the afternoon.
The 3 of us in the same place not racing about.
Not the best image in fact I feel a little exposed posting it.
Couch potatoes is not how I would like to describe us, laundry in the background just kills me and the image itself with the blown window light is not one of my better shots.
I thought of interupting the moment and posing everyone out in the shade of the yard with a nice clean uncluttered background. Then I realized "life actually" would be the project theme and this is us at this moment.
They thought I was a little nuts when I got up walked out of the living area and came back with camera & tripod popped it up in the corner, laid back down and took the picture. They asked should we move? and I said
"no this is us at this moment and I like it".
"no this is us at this moment and I like it".
Here we go ~ 2012 Life Actually
